Greetings Central Iowa Dances Community

You’re invited to a special day of Dances of Universal Peace, Chant and Labyrinth Walking where we will:

Create a Field of Unity and High Vibration
in which to Begin a New Year

Sunday, January 3 @ Unity of Des Moines

Unity of Des Moines is located at 414 31st Street, Des Moines, IA 50312. [Map]

Program Schedule

1:00 – 4:00:  Labyrinth open for walking, with an optional individual seed ritual of letting go of the old and inviting in the new.  Between 1 and 2 will be the quietest time for walking.  Between 2 and 3, there will be a background of Chant.  Between 3 and 4 usually brings the most companions on the walk.  At 4, we will fold up the labyrinth and welcome help to prepare the space for the Dances.

2 – 3:  Chants from a variety of world traditions ~ All welcome to add your voice and join in song to calm the bodymind and uplift the spirit

4 – 6:  Dances of Universal Peace  (Including the special “Peace Bells” for the new year)

Event Details

• Come for all the parts of the day or just for some
• Donations are gratefully accepted ~ there is no specific charge
• Hot teas and cookies provided
